Surrendering A Rescue
Surrendering your dog to Newfoundland Rescue of Florida (NRF) is one of the hardest decisions you will make for your dog. It's also one of the most selfless things you can ever do for your dog because it's with their best interests at heart.
As you complete this form, the most important thing you can do is be honest with the information you share. We need to know the good, the bad, and the ugly. This information will help us better understand your dog as we begin to make decisions on the best next steps. We understand your dog may not be perfect, but the more we know, the better we can find the right new home for your dog.
We are a fostered-based rescue. Most dogs are placed in an approved foster home until an appropriate permanent home is found. The rare exceptions are dogs under one year old. We use this time to get to know your dog so we can find them the perfect furever home they deserve.
